Designed to fill a blow-molded container with a proprietary phase-changing liquid. The inbound conveyor brings the container to a prepping station to rout out the filler hole, then the container proceeds to the filling station where the liquid is pumped, holding a very tight tolerance on the volume of product pumped into the container, then the product proceeds to the final station where a cap is placed in the fill hole and spin-welded closed. Estimated process time is 15 seconds per unit.
Solid helped the customer develop the machine specification based on goals they had for product through put. Solid performed all mechanical design and coordinated cross-functional disciplines for such items as system controls. Solid purchased parts for the system, did assembly of machine and performed Final Acceptance Testing prior to customer shipment.
